"I know how valuable it is to hear honest advice from someone who's recently been in your position. In engineering especially, there's often a gap between expectations and reality. To me, peer mentoring is about being open about that — sharing both the challenges and the opportunities so students can make confident, informed decisions about their future."

"I joined ADI as I also had a mentor throughout my entire pre-university process, she guided me with suitable options and together we discussed through any of my worries or concerns. My mentor was able to support me and it really eased the entire process with an expert by my side. I could not have been as confident selecting, joining and being at University without her help, so I want to give back the excellent support I received."

Business and Management · Durham University

"I find immense value in receiving honest, 1:1 advice before making a big academic step. ADI fills this gap, providing insight from students who have been in that position and can share authentic answers to questions, doubts, and fears about university life. Honest peer mentoring at ADI looks like sharing the real things sixth form students want to hear — the highs, the lows and everything in‑between!"

"I want students to have the opportunity to hear honest insight that helps them explore their options and decide whether university is right for them. I think ADI does a great job of showing that there is more than one valid path into higher education, and that university can feel more accessible to students who may not otherwise have considered it."

"I joined Already Doing It because I believe that being able to talk to someone about their experience studying a course or going to a particular university can help to understand the real student experience that brochures can't offer, allowing you to determine if the university is the right choice for you."

"I believe in the unbiased, honest lens that peer mentors take, which best informs students on their next steps. Every student deserves truthful, well-intentioned advice, without feeling the pressure from universities trying to persuade students to join them!"
