Your ambassadors are brilliant.
But they’re not independent.
Already Doing It | For Universities
Already Doing It gives sixth formers the honest peer conversation that no university can replicate internally — fully managed, fully evidenced, zero admin for your team.
- Authentic peer outreach at scale.
- Credible evidence for your Access and Participation Plan.
The honest conversation universities can't have themselves.
Your student ambassadors are excellent. But both sides know the context — they’re paid by your university, representing your brand. However genuine they are, prospective students filter everything through that lens.
That’s not a training problem. It’s structural. You cannot pay someone to represent your institution and ask them to be independent at the same time.
Already Doing It is different — by design.
Our Uni Insiders have no institutional loyalty to any university. They’re trained to give honest, unfiltered insight — the challenges, the surprises, what they’d do differently. Because they have nothing to sell, prospective students receive what they say completely differently.
That independence isn’t something you can replicate internally. It’s the product.
52% of graduates wish they’d made different choices with hindsight. Not because they weren’t capable — because nobody gave them an honest conversation before they committed. That’s a fixable problem. And it sits directly within the remit of your Access and Participation Plan.

Widening Participation
Credible, scalable peer outreach fully aligned with your OfS Access and Participation Plan — with impact reporting included.
Student Recruitment & Marketing
The most credible form of peer marketing available — connecting your current students with motivated prospective applicants.
Credible, scalable peer outreach —
with OfS-ready evidence included.
Universities face growing pressure to demonstrate meaningful outreach to underrepresented groups. Not just activity. Evidence of impact. ADI gives your WP team a cost-effective, fully managed intervention that reaches sixth formers from underrepresented backgrounds — and delivers the data to prove it.
What the evidence shows
What every ADI session delivers
- A structured 1:1 video conversation between a sixth former and a trained near-peer mentor — with targeted cohort options for underrepresented groups
- Pre and post session confidence data — measurable shift, not assumed impact
- Full documentation in an Impact Report formatted for OfS Access and Participation Plan evidence requirements
- Gatsby Benchmark 2, 3 and 7 evidence as standard — sessions with graduate mentors additionally evidence Benchmark 5
- Zero administrative burden on your WP team
What your WP team receives
- A fully managed cohort programme — ADI handles scheduling, safeguarding oversight and session delivery end to end
- Pre and post session student confidence and decision-making data
- An OfS-aligned Impact Report delivered within 5 working days of the final session
- Geographic and demographic breakdowns of students reached
- Student intent data — self-reported likelihood to apply to higher education following their session
- Zero internal resource required
Why WP teams choose ADI
Empowers students to make confident choices about post-18 pathways through evidence-backed peer insight
Extends high-quality 1:1 guidance across your institution without increasing staff workload or overhead
Private, near-peer conversations that break through the intimidation barrier — students ask what they won't ask staff
Low-risk, scalable model for rapid pilots, targeted Pupil Premium interventions or whole-cohort support
Student-led booking outside curriculum hours encourages independence and protects teaching time
Why ADI evidences your Access and Participation Plan
Your APP commits to reducing gaps in higher education participation for underrepresented groups. ADI directly addresses the information and confidence barrier — one of the most significant and most overlooked factors in whether a student from a disadvantaged background chooses to apply.
A sixth former who has had an honest conversation with someone already at university — someone who looks like them, studies what they're considering, and has no reason to sell them anything — is fundamentally better equipped to make that decision with confidence.
That's what ADI delivers. And every session is documented, measured and formatted for your OfS reporting.
The most credible form of
peer marketing available.
Prospective students have read the prospectus. They've been to the open day. They've had the scripted ambassador chat. What they actually want is a conversation with someone genuinely living it — someone with no reason to sell them anything.
ADI connects your students — trained and onboarded as Uni Insiders through ADI — with motivated Year 12 and 13 applicants for honest 1:1 video conversations. Not a moderated text platform. Not a scripted ambassador interaction. A real conversation, from someone who chose your university and can speak honestly about what that decision actually looks like.
Your students carry genuine credibility precisely because they chose your institution independently. ADI's training ensures they give honest, balanced insight — including the challenges. That honesty is what makes prospective students trust them.
How onboarding works
- 1You identify one willing student per course or subject area
- 2ADI handles all training and onboarding — no resource from your team
- 3Students are typically live and taking bookings within two weeks
- 4Prospective applicants find and book them independently on the ADI platform
Why this outperforms your current ambassador activity
Based on publicly available ambassador hourly rates and typical scheme sizes. A mid-size university running 100 ambassadors across open days is spending £50,000–£80,000 in wages alone before a full-time administrator and management overhead. ADI delivers more credible peer conversations at a fraction of that cost — with nothing to manage internally.
What your Student Recruitment team receives
- A fully managed programme connecting your ADI-trained students with engaged prospective applicants
- Post-session data on student interest levels and application intent
- Subject and course-level engagement data — which programmes are generating the most interest
- Geographic reach data — where your prospective students are coming from
- Zero internal resource required to run the programme once your Uni Insiders are onboarded

We are building university partnership case studies through our 2026 pilot programme. In the meantime, here is what students are saying about ADI sessions.
Read all student stories"Speaking to a Cambridge law student was one of the most helpful things I've done in sixth form. I got real insight into studying law, tips on applying, managing time, and what a typical day looks like. I feel more confident and excited about applying."
"The session was incredibly helpful, I now feel much more confident about what to expect at university. The mentor explained the course workload in detail and helped me rethink whether medicine is really the right fit for me."
"It was reassuring to know the session wasn't linked to the university. The advice was honest and practical, and my child could ask anything without feeling pushed toward a particular course."
Every Uni Insider on the ADI platform is identity verified, academically verified and ADI-Certified — meaning they have completed our full mentor training programme and passed an end assessment before taking any bookings. They are trained to give honest, balanced insight — including the challenges, the surprises and what they would do differently. Not a sales pitch. Not an open day conversation. The real picture.
"I joined ADI because I know how valuable it is to hear honest advice from someone who's recently been in your position. In engineering especially, there's often a gap between expectations and reality. To me, peer mentoring is about being open about that — sharing both the challenges and the opportunities so students can make confident, informed decisions about their future."
Safeguarding
All ADI near-peer mentors are identity verified and complete a mandatory safeguarding assessment before taking any bookings. Sessions are structured, time-limited and conducted through a managed platform environment with a full audit trail.
Our safeguarding framework is aligned with the principles of Keeping Children Safe in Education. For users aged 16–17, a parent or guardian is required to be present at the start of each session — shifting primary safeguarding responsibility to the home environment and removing the need for institutional supervision.

ADI's university partnership model is priced separately from our school offering and reflects a fundamentally different value proposition. We don't publish institutional pricing publicly — packages are scoped based on your Access and Participation Plan targets, cohort size and recruitment objectives.
