Policies & Guidelines

Last Updated: 31 July 2026

These Policies & Guidelines explain the rules, expectations, and safeguards that apply to all users of Already Doing It Ltd ("Already Doing It", "we", "us", "our"). They are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and transparent environment for students, parents, and Uni Insiders.

These Policies & Guidelines operate alongside and form part of our Safeguarding Policy, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy. By using our platform, you agree to comply with all of them.

1
Platform Purpose

Already Doing It is a mentoring platform designed to connect:

  • Prospective students and school-aged users
  • Current university students and recent graduates ("Uni Insiders")

Uni Insiders share personal experiences of studying particular courses or universities to help users make informed decisions. The platform does not provide professional, medical, legal, financial, or admissions advice.

2
Eligibility & Age Rules
Minimum Age
  • Users must be at least 16 years old to book a session.
  • Users under 16 are not permitted to create an account or book sessions.
Users Aged 16–17
  • A parent or legal guardian must be present at the start of every session.
  • Uni Insiders are required to end the session immediately if a parent or guardian is not present at the start.
  • Sessions ended for this reason are not eligible for a refund.

Users must provide accurate age information. Any attempt to misrepresent age may result in suspension or termination of the account.

3
Verification of Identity & Study Status

To keep the platform safe and confirm eligibility, applicants to become a Uni Insider complete identity verification through a specialist third-party verification provider, Didit. Didit confirms that the applicant's official photo identity document is genuine, uses the device camera to confirm a real, live person is present, and matches the person's face to the photograph in their document. This involves biometric data, a special category of personal data, and is carried out only with the applicant's explicit consent, requested before the check begins. Already Doing It does not receive or store any copy of the identity document or any image of the applicant; we receive only a confirmed result and a limited set of identity details such as name and date of birth. Study or graduate status is confirmed through the applicant's official university email address by a one-time code, or through documentary evidence of graduation where appropriate. An applicant who cannot or would prefer not to use the camera-based check may contact us to agree an alternative. We reserve the right to refuse or suspend access where verification cannot be completed satisfactorily.

4
Uni Insider Profile Standards

Uni Insiders are responsible for ensuring that all information provided on their profile:

  • Is accurate, truthful, and up to date
  • Is a fair and genuine representation of their background and experience
  • Relates only to courses, universities, or experiences they have personally undertaken

Uni Insider profiles must not:

  • Contain misleading or exaggerated claims
  • Include offensive, sexual, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
  • Imply official affiliation with a university unless explicitly authorised
  • Offer professional, legal, medical, or financial advice

We may review, edit, suspend, or remove Uni Insider profiles that breach these standards or our Terms & Conditions.

5
Conduct & Behaviour Standards

All users must behave respectfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten another user
  • Engage in inappropriate or unsafe behaviour
  • Misrepresent your identity, age, or role
  • Attempt to contact users outside the platform without consent
  • Record, screenshot, or share session content
  • Circumvent age verification or safeguarding rules

Uni Insiders must immediately end and report any session where safeguarding rules are breached.

6
Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a core priority of Already Doing It.

  • Uni Insiders are required to report any safeguarding concerns immediately
  • Sessions involving minors must follow parental presence rules strictly
  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated where safeguarding rules are breached

Safeguarding concerns can be reported confidentially via our safeguarding form.

Reports are reviewed promptly, and appropriate action may include account suspension or contacting external authorities where required by law.

For more information, read our Safeguarding Policy.

7
Session Observation for Safeguarding and Quality

Occasionally, and only with the student's advance agreement, a member of the Already Doing It team may join a live session to observe for safeguarding and quality-assurance purposes. The observer identifies themselves at the start and does not take part in the session. Sessions are never recorded, and no written record of the observation is kept, except where the observer identifies a safeguarding concern, which is handled under our Safeguarding Policy. Uni Insiders are told during training that observation may occur but are not told in advance which session, if any, will be observed. A student may decline observation, and declining has no effect of any kind on the session.

8
